How do I brew loose leaf tea?

Time and temperature is crucial when brewing the perfect cup of tea. First, you will need an infuser or something to steep your tea in. Next, place one tea spoon of tea into your steeping device and follow the suggested times and temperatures below. You can also find our full steeping instructions on each tea’s product page.

Black Tea: 200 °F for 3-5 minutes.
Green Tea: 185 °F for 2-4 minutes.
Oolong: 195 °F for 4-5 minutes.
Pu-erh: 200 °F for 4-5 minutes.
Herbal: 200 °F for 5+ minutes.

 

What is the best way to store my tea?

To maintain the freshness, tea should be stored at room temperature in an airtight container, away from sunlight and moisture.

 

What is the shelf life of tea?

Our teas can be enjoyed for up to 15 months when stored properly.

 

How do I make a custom tea blend?

Are there teas I should avoid while pregnant or breastfeeding?

How long does your shipping take?

At Shari’s Tea, we are committed to the timely delivery of your order. Most orders are fulfilled within 1-2 days and shipped via USPS.  Shipping typically takes about 3-5 business days (depending on location).

 

Can I return my tea order?

Satisfaction is guaranteed at Shari’s Tea. However, due to the nature of the product, we cannot accept returns. If you are not happy with your tea order, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order for a full refund.
